[opensuse-kde] Resizing window by dragging to screen edge

KWin: 4.7.3 (4.7.3) "release 10" Qt: 4.7.4 openSUSE 12.1 By clicking on a window's title bar, menu bar or tool bar and holding the mouse button down I can drag the window; if I drag it until the mouse pointer reaches the edge of the screen, a box outline appears, whose shape and size vary according the edge dragged to (e.g. top edge = full screen); when I release the mouse button, the window size is changed to fit the box outline. Is it possible to inhibit this resizing? I have found no setting to do this nor any mention of such a possibility in the documentation.
