Hi people. I suggest you all to subscribe to opensuse-kde3@opensuse.org so I could send e-mails directly to this mailing list.
I have several questions, suggestions and clarifications regarding status of KDE:KDE3.
- First of all I have to announce that we completed for the most part moving of packages from KDE:Communitry.
Ah! So you are to blame for the errors I was getting in yast! >:-) (kidding) But you people (kde 4 and kde 3) should decide on a stable repository structure and not change it every few months. Or only change for new versions of the distro, leaving the old alone.
- It seems that some packages were disabled for Factory. Namely, kdemultimedia3 and anything related to Beagle. Please tell me the actual reason or the disabling.
Beagle has been dropped upstream, I understand. Thus it has to dissapear from all new versions of the distro. There is a substitute, I don't remember the name, not finished yet, I understand. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
