No, but UNIX/Linux is littered with many variations on the same thing, people's preferences, experiments and variations. There are many variations of the same theme in widgets available for KDE. Then we get to editors, browsers, databases ... Waste of time? Many thousands of developers don't think so and many millions of users are glad of it. -- Warning: Klein Bottle.
