I've having weird responses using "Show Desktop".
With "Show Desktop" I suppose you mean the "Show Desktop" plasmoid?
One one login if i have a program open and i press "show desktop", the desktop shows correctly but as soon as i click on a folder in my folder view on the desktop, the program that was moved away comes back instead of opening Dolphin to view the folder.
I think that's the intended behavior, and is what I see here too. If you open a new application (by clicking on a folder in your folderview) you "break" the "Show Desktop" state and all hidden windows reappear. What bothers me here is your mention of "instead" though. The hidden windows should reappear, *and* Dolphin should be opened with the corresponding folder. Does Dolphin open if you click on a folder on your folderview when not in "Show Desktop" state?
On one other user, pressing "show desktop" just makes the program that should be moved away, lose focus.
That's strange. Is this on the same system? I think there's a hidden config option to change "Show Desktop"'s behavior (at least there was in KDE4). I would have to search for that though. Try to remove ~/.config/kwinrc. Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
