i just talked with the kdedevs and they seem to think its a problem with the suse packages OR the issue has already been fixed in the svn because they could not reproduce the bug
It seems we hit a bad KDE SVN snapshot with the last kdelibs3 update, updating again seems to make the problem go away again. Build service is now building.

Steve, I misread the date on your previous post and thought I had the newest packages. I even checked the buildserver and the packages were 3/9. After sending my last post, I checked a different build server mirror and saw the latest packages there dated 3/12 and 3/13, I updated to those packages and they have indeed fixed the issue. So thank you for your time and please disregard my earlier message. -- keep up the great work!
