Now that gcc 4.4.0 is released, we want to switch to it. But as a matter of fact, there are still ~70 build failures for factory - you can check out the current state here:

It would be good if you could check this before we switch, we plan to do on May 15th. That gives you plenty of time to fix the missing includes - as announced earlier you can test build like this:
osc build --alternative-project openSUSE:Factory:Gcc44 staging (or you temporary add that repo to your project)
Greetings, Stephan
I took the freedom to forward the announcement of Stephan to this list here, as I am rather sure not everybody here, who is maintaining packages for KDE:KDE4:Community and/or KDE:KDE4:Playground, is also subscribed to -packaging ML or -contrib.
I also to the freedom to add the repository Factory:GCC44:Staging to Playground and Community in order for us to validate and prepare our packages for the GCC44 switch in Factory. I will be watching the progress for these two repositories and report the status after all have been build.

Raymond
Hi, Good idea. Some of the fixes are not difficult - usually a missing include or two. Others might need more work/investigation. If you do make fixes please forward them upstream who are usually very happy to receive them.
