kate+dcop: Breaking long line

Hi, i'm trying to break a long text line into some smaller chunks: dcop kate EditInterface#1 insertText 0 4 "\n" This line insert a \n string not a newline sign !?! I have also tryed '\n', 0xa, `printf "\n"` - same effect. Any idea ? Ciao, Raphael
