Here, I get two different outputs:
9.3: resolution: 95x96 dots per inch 10.0: resolution: 108x113 dots per inch
This seems like this may be the problem. The question is: How do I change the resolution on 10.0?
You would usually log out of the desktop, do a Ctl+Alt+F1 to get to a console, log in as root, do an "init 3" to switch run levels (shutting down X) then run "sax" (SaX2) to define/refine the display properties. However, I had a similar problem and could not get YaST2/SaX2 under 10.0 to replicate my preferred 9.3 configuration. I tried several times, too. Eventually, I just moved 10.0's xorg.conf to xorg.bak and copied my 9.3 xorg.conf over. It worked for me, but YMMV (standard disclaimer.) regards, Carl
