So what effect should we expect in the openSUSE 11.1 repos?
The online update will be only for 11.2. If you want KDE 4.3.4 on 11.1, you'll have to explicitly use KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop.
What is the difference between this one ( KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop) and the one in KDE:43/ ?

At the same may I ask (here), if it is possible to get version numbers in the output of 'zypper dyp'? It looks like, that I need to perform a 'zypper dup' to upgrade from kde-4.2.3 to 4.3 on my openSUSE-11.1.
I've attached the zypper dup output I get. It tells me that kde will be downgraded, but to which version? How do I upgrade to kde-4.3.x?
Hi Richard For me it looks like your openSUSE-Update Repo has i higher,or the same, Priority than the KDE4 Repo. In this case zypper dup wil downgrade your KDE4 to the Version which is partly in the Update Repo, and this is the Version which was shippt with 11.1, i guess 4.0.x or 4.1.x If you want the latest kde4, you have to set the KDE4 Repo to a higher Priority than the Update Repo, but then you have to be aware that this packages will not be Updated by security Reasons. If you don't care about the Risk set the Priority to a value lower then the Update Repo (a lower value means a higher Priority). For example, if the Update Repo has a Priority from 99, set the KDE Repo to, let's say, 30 or what ever is lower than 99. Then you will get the Packages from that Repo. But if you want SuSE to take care by your Security install openSUSE 11.2 with KDE-4.3.x All Clear ?
