That is exactly correct. I do most of my work for end-user systems, and its shocking how many don't know there are browsers other than IE. For a default, Rekonq is more than adequate. If somebody finds themselves missing a feature of Firefox, then they know thats what they want and can install it. As for learning curve, if they were plopped in front of a Linux workstation in the workspace... they would have access to help. A home user isn't going to be so illiterate they can't look for, read, and properly execute instructions.
