Use of Compaq pocket PC

Hello List, Perhaps somebody is able to inform me about connecting my Comaq pocket PC. KDE is able to connect handhelds with Windows CE to a Linux box. I tried to do that by installing synCE and starting Raki. But it cann't get a connection. 1. What I don't know is: is windows CE somewhat equal to Pocket PC? 2. Has somebody experienced thes problem?
