when I instal / update to KDE 5.7 from Repositories /KDE:/....with Qt5 repo
Works fine here on 13.2.
I hope you use KDE:Frameworks5 with KDE:Qt5 (not KDE:Qt56 or KDE:Qt57).
Did you do a full switch to both repos? ("Switch system packages..." in YaST or "zypper dup --from xxx") Otherwise you likely have incompatible packages installed.
Yes I use Qt5 ...
I tested it now three times and also a new / fresh install with included /KDE:/... repos but with Leap it is not working :-(.
Perhaps having a look in a console (or ssh more convenient) at dmseg output to check if any segfault of sddm is signaled there.
Certainly also have a check to Xorg.0.log
It work here with a Leap + Nvidia (from repository)
On my system this is not running :-(. I make now again a new install with added repositories, update /KDE:/Frameworks5/..,/ KDE:/Qt5/...., /KDE:/Extra/.., /KDE:/Applikations/..., now I have a mix with 5.6.1 / 5.7 and Qt? but my Monitors are working now :-)) ? after a update I have again Problems, only 1 Monitor is working (?) Now I go back with Snapper to the working Version and disable the repositories now. I hope this is working for a longer time ;-). -- mit freundlichen Grüßen / best regards, Günther J.
