2) Shouldn't we also include 'kde-mplayer-thumbnailer' in the default install, and enable video thumbnails in Dolphin by default?
For this i'm not sure, as this would mean activating previews in general (not a big deal), and second, it would "collide" with ffpmegthumbs (which is not in the distro, but it does work, in my experience, much better).
I didn't mean activate previews when browsing folders. I meant the equivalent of the user currently needing to go to Configure Dolphin -> General -> Preview -> and check "Video Files (MPlayerThumbs)", after installing 'kde-mplayer- thumbnailer' Same place the user could choose ffmpegthumbs instead if installed ;-) Mplayerthumbs isn't too bad if you switch from phonon to mplayer backend, but of course using mplayer as default is not an option ;-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
