Sorry to disappoint you, but those patches by René J.V. Bertin were only about the widget style, and some them just fixes for MacOS X.

I don't see any commits about the window decoration there...

Agreed. However, the maintainer is pleading for help. He is having problems transitioning this package with the new API. This is why I posted this request for help fo Yichao Yu.
