[opensuse-kde] icons in tool bar ignore sizing

Hi everybody, I want to use small icons in the toolbars of the KDE apps. After I change the size to small by right klicking into the bar the icons appear in the previous size when I restart the app. However, the text position accepts and remembers the setting "icons only". Setting the icons to standard size puts them to medium size even though the system setting for the icons in the tool bars is set to 16 (smallest). Any hint for me?
