Hello
I had some problems with kde and i have to delete "/home/user/.kde/tmp-linux"; "/home/user/.kde/socket-linux" and all files in /tmp to run it again. But now I can't save any session-properties of kde. No open programm while shutdown kde will be restored after a new kde-start.
what can i do?

Felix, Did you check the permissions on your config files? For that matter, be sure that all your KDE files are writable by you/your user.

Patrick, I checked all files in /home/user/.kde/ an /home/user/. the permissions are correct. It's not the problem of the single programm settings. for example kmail save all settings very nice. but the session-settings for kde (like autostart) are not saved after logout Felix _________________________________ mailto:f.hammer@web.de ~ NO HTML http://www.das-duo.net - veni, vidi, linux - _________________________________
