Re: [opensuse-kde] KDE SC 4.5.0 released, upgrade instructions

the startkde script (accidentally?) sets MALLOC_CHECK_ to 3 which (among potentially slowing down any program) prevents eclipse from working correctly (see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=320487 - I agree however that this should be their fault). Anyway, the comments in startkde suggest that this should not have been enabled in the first place for a 'release'. I filed a bug at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=247398 but I thought everyone here should know (potentially the packages could be updated, too, if setting MALLOC_CHECK_ really was a mistake) Regards Nico
