Hello.
I filtered the output of that command (zypper -v dup -D | grep -B2 KDE). The list was way too long without that. "zypper lr" shows 65 repos.
It seems, you have not set repositories proorities. And make sure you do not have repositories with the same packages having the same priority. Concerning 65-items long repositories list. Do you really need all of them? Did you just clicked on "1-click install" multiple times?
Yes, I think I want them all. I'm using this kind of software from S.u.S.E. 5.3 on, and I love the build system introduced with openSUSE. It's nice to have all packages in the distro repo, and some newer versions in specialized repos. Since I have to manage a variety of servers, I need several packages in up-to-date versions, and so the number of repos increased. Thanks for your warning, anyway. BTW, at home, there are even more repos, and there is no such error with the non-existent editor component. So it might be just something to configure properly, but where and what? How does KDE try to recognize the editor component? Maybe it's just a missing symlink?
