In order to have kuickshow you need to stick with kdegraphics3-viewer 3.1-71 and kdegraphics3-extra 3.1-71 for now.
BTW is pixieplus going to be coming back or is it history?
Hi David, Yes, the newer builds removes kuickshow and gives us KView to replace it with more features. Nice new viewer, but one needs to change the file associations in Konq to get kmail to use it correctly.
Guess I'll give it another try ;-)
There is a new version of pixieplus out, now that you mention it, but it also requires a newer version of ImageMagick as well. I haven't compiled them yet, but am anxious to see the new version as I am sure he is developing it actively again, adding new features and putting some back he had taken out.
I just compiled ImageMagick, had to use the "./configure --enable-lzw --with-x --with-windows-font-dir=/usr/share/fonts/msfonts --enable-shared" options to get it to install with checkinstall. Basic functionality seems to be there but when I tried make check I recieved messages that most things had failed we'll see. More disturbing is that it upsets my apt upgrade process. I'm just starting on this process so I'll let you know what happens. -- dh Don't shop at GoogleGear.com!
