[opensuse-kde3] kontact & kmail crash in 11.4
Ilya, I haven't used kmail in 11.4, but needed to configure it and did. However, sending mail in kmail or using kontact causes both to crash. The crash reports I received are as follows: I will probably need to load the debug packages to make them useful, but this is what I have so far: System configuration startup check disabled. Ilya, thanks to your latest mods, kmail 3 is stable again. Great work. It would be even greater to leave a short note here, how you fixed it. It might help others to get over it, too. BTW, as this was a DCOP issue, for the record: I'm suffering from DCOP locking issues (on fast SMP machines) for a long time. Especially amarok is affected, when its plugins query amaroks state by DCOP, deadlocks are pretty likely, while significantly slower machines aren't affected at all... The inexpressibly shutdown issue of 12.1s' systemd is fixed, too. Keep up your great support, Pete -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
