Hello All, I use Oss 12.2. Unable to use 13.1. I think it is because of the X drivers for NVidia (I hate NVidia). My system seems to operate with a guard dog by heart (and I run an FX 8 cores). My problem is that these watchdogs need to access the hard drive. Ugh! It reminds me of the early MS software. So, my one year old hard drive died, and I guess this is due to the too frequent access. I saw that, with or without supervision, the system can freeze anyway. Every second, the system experiences trauma because I guess all the memories cash should be handled, and the disque accessed. So I think that the cost of this security software is too high compared to the perceived disadvantages. So my question is: how to kill these bloody dogs?
