[opensuse-kde3] icons turn black in OpenSUSE 12.1
Yesterday I've updated to OpenSUSE 12.1 and now I am frustrated with a rather annoying problem. The icons under KDE3 often turn black or, sometime, transparent (or, at least, became black when I move the mouse to them on the panel). This often occurs spontaneously, but virtually every time I hibernate/resume the computer. Note that there is no such effect under XFCE (even for KDE3 applications). Maybe this problem correlates with the fact that there is no bootsplash (splashy exits with an error) after the upgrade, but I am not sure. Maybe your computer has two graphic cards (just guessing) and after resume another card is used? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
It turns out that even screensaver can spoil the icons on the desktop! Some icons become black, some transparent, some blacken, when you move the pointer to them. Michael On 23.03.2012 23:09, Michael Lashkevich wrote:

I have coped the problem by installing more recent xorg-x11-driver-video-intel from an unofficial directory. But now I have faced another bug. When I start a dialog window, most often from krusader (e.g. copy dialog), it often turns out that the window ignores any keyboard event. I need to close it by mouse and then reopen fill fields or in any way use the keyboard. I suspect it to be a Xorg problem, but the Xorg mailing list is nearly dead. So, maybe somebody here could explain me what happens and how to work it around? Michael On 23.03.2012 23:09, Michael Lashkevich wrote:

And sometimes even in a main window, which forces me to restart the application. On 12.04.2012 00:15, Michael Lashkevich wrote:
