Anybody Know Where kate Alert words are defined? ("NOTE", "FIXME", etc..)
All, Before I start grepping sources, does anyone recall where the Alert words in kate that get syntax highlighting in red are listed? Like when you type in "NOTE" or "FIXME", kate automatically hightlights them with the Alert (1,2,3) level from Configure kate, Fonts & Colors, Syntax Highlighting. I know I've run across the list before, but cannot recall where. May have been in the source, but I want to say it was easier than that to add words? Any ideas let me know. -- David C. I think what you're looking for is .../kde3/share/apps/katepart/syntax/alert.xml from kdelibs. You might also be interested in a markdown highlighter which has been added to TDE: https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tdelibs/raw/branch/master/ka...

Bingo! That's exactly what I was looking for for the alerts. The markdown syntax is a nice find as well. Thank you Ray! -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
