Also, While we are here, let's also document a Bug with kate Sessions -> Manage... -> Rename feature. It just doesn't work. I make extensive use of kate sessions, and probably have 20-40 at any one time with 5-30 files in each session. Sometimes I'll have a session I want to rename to basically branch a package or bit of code to make a set of changes, etc.. When you choose Sessions -> Manage... and highlight the sessions you want, "Rename" is an option on the right. If you choose Rename, the name dialog is presented and you can type in a new name and choose ok. The new name will appear in the session list, but if you note in the titlebar, the current session is not renamed and when you close the session, the new name is lost from the session-list. As a work-around you can use Session -> Save As, but it is curious the rename just fails. Priority (Low) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
