It TW missing a KTTSD kcontrol panel module?
Yasuhiko, All, kde3 accessibility has the KTTSD (Text to Speech) daemon. I don't know what launched it, but it wasn't able to find a "talker". The K-Say-It app attempts to launch the kcontrol TTSD module, but it cannot be found. Sure enough, there is none in kcontrol anywhere. I also recall disabling the text-to-speech in the control panel years ago (I don't use it), but that module no longer exists. Is it missing? Build/dependency failure? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
kdeaccessibility3 recommends "festival", which is the only implementation at this time. It also recommends "epos", which seems to have been abandoned a long time ago. Thanks, On Wed, 30 Oct 2024 00:26:22 -0500 "David C. Rankin" <drankinatty@gmail.com> wrote:
