Ilya thanks for KDE:KDE3. Great job. Recently I have tried http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Medias/images/iso/KDE-Two-Liv... very interesting. I'm great fan and user of minimal Linux. IceWM and Openbox are great, but KDE 2.2.2 is full Desktop environment and is amazing fast. What do you think about KDE:KDE2 (I'm serious). For the begining is enough KDE 2.2.2 adapted on OpenSUSE 12.1 with fresh look. Konqueror is not a problem. Today we have a heap good WEB browsers. Suggestion for KDE:KDE3: I hope that KDE:KDE3 is here to stay and continue to grows where KDE 3.5.10 stop. So I think that it is time for number change and time for 3.6.1. Using 3.5.11 is not a good idea because of Trinity Desktop, who used that scheme. Keep good work. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org

There is a problem with KDE2. When using Qt2 built on recent releases KDE2 does not start for whatever reason. One have to use Qt2 built under 11.1 (kde2 itself works well even if buit under recent releases). Also note that KDE2 is not complete in that repo. It does not include koffice and translations.

You can try a more recent build based on 11.3: http://susestudio.com/download/8ca72044957c4bd94c9c9695c5f6e1ab/OpenSUSE_11.... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
