Hello Felix, I fortunatly do not experience suche crashs. Following is what I am running. /etc/os-release : NAME=openSUSE VERSION="13.2 (Harlequin)" VERSION_ID="13.2" PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE 13.2 (Harlequin) (x86_64)" ID=opensuse ANSI_COLOR="0;32" CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:opensuse:opensuse:13.2" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.opensuse.org" HOME_URL="https://opensuse.org/" ID_LIKE="suse" uname -a : Linux lin-pat 3.16.7-21-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Apr 14 07:11:37 UTC 2015 (93c1539) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux KDE version 3.5.10, release 277. But what is strange is that, from Yast2's software management: - The open suse repository does not appear reachable (this morning ? could be a local provider DNS problem) - looking for "kded" does not show any installed packages (neither "kded", "kded-lang", "kdedesktopcheck", "ktp-kded-module" nor "ktp-kded-module-lang" is checked) - same thing looking for "kicker" (neither "homerun-kicker" nor "kdeaddons3-kicker" is checked), - end finaly, nothing named Kdesktop. But related to it, kdebase3-workspace appears in the window.
