[opensuse-kde3] crop and resize image without Gimp
GIMP is unwieldy to do the few image manipulations I typically want to do, almost exclusively crop and/or resize. Gwenview seems like it should be able to do these things, but the manipulation I make most often seems to be missing - image cropping. Is cropping not a Gwenview feature? Does cropping have some other name in Gwenview that I don't seem to be able to recognize? Does cropping in Gwenview require some plugin that is not installed (my Gwenview's plugin's effects menu is empty), maybe kipi-plugins? Is there a simple KDE or QT image editor in the repos? Is that what darktable, graphicsmagick, imagemagick-extra, or kde3-kim are for? Their descriptions don't make them sound very simple. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg. Felix, I guess digikam can do both resize and crop. It uses its own plugins and also kipi plugins. The plugins are in separate packages. Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
