[opensuse-kde3] Howto change open/save dialogs for OpenOffice (oo.org install) in 11.4/kde3 - gnome would be fine??
Guys, I have had to stay with OpenOffice for the time being due to a document spacing bug in LibreOffice: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35803 Is there any way to change the default open/save dialog to something other than the horrible default with no navigation tree? Here is what I get: http://www.3111skyline.com/dl/suse/bugs/114/oo/ugly-open-save-dlg.jpg I have tried using: OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome openoffice.org3 -writer %U but that doesn't get me the gnome/gtk dialogs (I even installed gnome to make sure) Starting OO with OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde openoffice.org3 -writer %U does give the KDE3 color scheme instead of the GTK2 colors, but the file open/save dialogs continue to be the default: http://www.3111skyline.com/dl/suse/bugs/114/oo/ugly-open-save-dlg-using_OOO_... Any ideas from the gurus on how to change the file open/save dialogs with the OO install from OO? Is it even possible with the install from openoffice.org? -- David C.
