Ilya, Is there anywhere we can file feature/bug request for this type issue? It is apparent here that kde3-network manager is not reading system-wide connections from /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/. It makes sense since the connections are 0600 root:root. So either kde3-networkmanager needs to be suid to enable reading, or the /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/ need to be something other than 0600 root:root. In the days after kde4, kde3 bugs/features could not be filed anymore with Novell bugzilla. They would be closed because they were not supporting kde3. What is the status? kde3 is in OSS, so can I file with Novell, or would you rather handle it on the list? -- David C.
