Clicking on the KMix mute button blacks the primary display where Kicker tray lives at the bottom of the screen. I'm not sure exactly what lights the display back up. Possibly either ESC, a mouse click on either other of the three displays, another Konsole command, or just mouse movement. # inxi -C --vs inxi 3.3.36-00 (2024-09-04) CPU: Info: dual core model: Intel Core i3-4150T bits: 64 type: MT MCP cache: L2: 512 KiB Speed (MHz): avg: 2993 min/max: 800/3000 cores: 1: 2993 2: 2993 3: 2993 4: 2993 # Felix, On Tumbleweed, (current though a couple days ago), the kmix mute (little greed LED looking button) works as it should. Clicking darkens the button and clicking again lights it back up. I guess mute/unmute is happening, but since system sounds died again due to the famous jack audio error message (not jack, but that's the error shows), I don't have sound up at the moment. -- David C.
