Why Is kdelibs4, libakonadi4, ... being installed? WTF?
All, I am just updating a 15.2 box and have 31 NEW KDE4 packages being installed in my KDE3. The following 31 NEW packages are going to be installed: babeltrace kde4-filesystem kdebase4-runtime kdebase4-workspace-libs kdelibs4 kdelibs4-branding-upstream kdelibs4-core kio_audiocd4 libakonadi4 libakonadiprotocolinternals1 libattica0_4 libdbusmenu-qt2 libdmtx0 libical3 libkactivities6 libkcddb4 libkcompactdisc4 libkde4 libkdecore4 libkdepimlibs4 libksuseinstall1 libmusicbrainz5-1 libneon27 libopencore-amrnb0 libopencore-amrwb0 libphonon4 libpolkit-qt-1-1 libprison0 libpulse-mainloop-glib0 libqjson0 libx264-161 That is Bad JuJu! Yep, I think I'll just rpm -e the packages and see what it tries to break. We should not be mixing versions from kde4 into anything. This 15.2 install is from the time 15.2 was released -- it never needed any of those packages before and there should be no reason it needs them now.
