[opensuse-kde3] KMail3 isn't starting
Hello at all, just done a update (all packages were renewed) on my opensuse tumbleweed today. After a restart my KDE5-Desktop is starting, all programms, that I use normally, are still going on. Only KMail3 don't start. Unfortunately my important application. Starting it on konsole, it shows this: /opt/kde3/bin/kmail /usr/bin/iceauth: timeout in locking authority file /run/user/1000/ICEauthority ICE Connection rejected! DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed ICE Connection rejected! DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed DCOPServer self-test failed. iceauth: timeout in locking authority file /run/user/1000/ICEauthority kdeinit: DCOPServer could not be started, aborting. Where can I look to solve this problem? (All other users on my system have the same problem). All packages of KDE3 are still installed. Great work Helga. Thank you for writing the bug report and getting this fixed. This may be related to the libice problem that is causing additional problems noted by Felix.
