[opensuse-kde3] Bug: kwrite (katepart) keyboard shortcut scancode for '<' is same as '>'
Ilya, Serghei, I ran across a bug in the keyboard shortcut keys attempting to set shortcuts for 'Enlarge Font' and 'Shrink Font' in kwrite (11.4) (probably the same in 13.1). I set: Enlarge Font = [ctrl] [shift] [>] Then attempted to set the shortcut for Shrink Font: Shrink Font = [ctrl] [shift] [<] and received the following error: <quote> The 'Ctrl+Shift+>' key combination has already been allocated to the "Enlarge Font" action. Do you want to reassign it from that action to the current one? </quote> Apparently the scancodes for '>' and '<' are interpreted the same when attempting to set shortcuts in kwrite. Please confirm in 13.1 and if so, then we can open a report. -- David C. Enlarge Font = [ctrl] [shift] [>]

On my keybord < and > are at the same key, the first one < without shift and the second one > with shift. So the combination shrift+< produces exactly the sign > IMHO you should use Enlarge Font = [ctrl] [shift] [>] Shrink Font = [ctrl] [<] -- Herzliche Grüße!
