[opensuse-kde3] How to script kde3 ?
Is there a way to script kde3 dialogs ? Instead of a real person clicking with his mouse, a script could fill forms, click OK, Cancel... Dsant -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org

Let's be more specific : I would like to change KDE3 configuration (that is, kcontrol content) by scripts : * without opening graphical tools, kcontrol or kdialog ones * without editing configuration files by hand (not nice) Is there a tool, made for remotely changing kde3 configuration ? something like : tool key=argument tool Screen-Saver-Start-Automatically=no Dsant -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org

The Squish tool is able to do this. http://dot.kde.org/2006/07/04/kde-edition-gui-testing-tool-squish I have no idea if Froglogic would still supply the Squish/KDE version for free though.
