This is one of those cases where you are special. I've updated 42.3, 15.0, and 15.1 to the latest version of everything in KDE3 and update and I have had zero issues. Even updated again tonight just to make sure.
It is almost like there is a mismatch in the core libraries, e.g. libc or libzypp or libcurl.
On 15.0 I have:
libc-2.26-lp150.11.20.1.x86_64
Typo? No libc-2.26-lp150.11.20.1.x86_64 found by zypper here.
