Hi all, I tryed to pass the "same" system from "reiserfs" to "ext3". I have two partitions of the same size, the first one "src" being the current system (oss 12.2 with kernel 3.18.0-2.38-desktop) with which I formated the "dst" partition, using yast. Then, rebooting the computer with a rescue system from a CD, I copied all the files from "src" to "dst" using rsync -a. I modified the file "dst"/etc/fstab to change the ex and new root partitions. Every thing looks good to you, until now ? The problem is that something in the boot process of the system on "dst" is still waiting for a reiserfs file system. I can not find what. Grub seems to load the right system and the root partition is the good one (well, I have no control...), but nothing more, While booting, the system hang with something related to fschk. I tryed to change fstab replacing the last arguments (1 2) by 0 0, but without positive effect. Th kernel prompts a "$", but if I try to enter a text it redisplays the same massage. Could someone help showing me in which direction to look for, please ? I thank you for the attention you paid to this e-mail.
