klaptop works. The tooltips relating to the charged state show various messages: Your battery is now fully charged. Plugged in - fully charged Plugged in - %1% charged Plugged in - %1% charged (%2:%3 hours left) Running on batteries - %1% charged (%2:%3 hours left) Running on batteries - %1% charged And the battery level % can be displayed on the icon -------- Unfortunately, the build for this has been removed from kdeutils - see line 444 in the kdeutils3.spec But the source code is still there and it will build with make. After running ./configure, run make install-strip from the klaptopdaemon directory to install just klaptop. From konsole: * run 'kcmshell laptop' # [not klaptop ..] * check 'Show battery monitor' .. You may have to toggle Show battery monitor|Apply for it to show in the panel. From Control Center: * Power Control|Laptop Battery The crystalsvg 22x22 icons look good.
