The only time fish was needed was when sftp:// was broken right as 4.0.1a was released and then stayed broken until Tim wrote a patch finding an uninitialized value as the ultimate case. I may have this backwards, but I thought dad was on Win10 and Bob was on 15.2 with KDE3 (or any other desktop).
