You shouldn't be. I'll make a point to file all bugs there now. Recall after 11.0 and the forcing of the 'KDE 4.0.4 "Release"' on opensuse as a default, all KDE3 bugs filed thereafter were automatically closed as "Wont' Fix". That's when I quit filing them with opensuse -- after about the 5th one, then tried kde4 and wrote over 200 bugs against it, then went back to KDE3 because I couldn't spend an hour a day, every day, tracking down why things didn't work in kde4. (I did the same against Plasma/Frameworks 5) If the opensuse bugzilla will take kde3 bugs, I'll file them there. As I've expressed a number of times, the patched KDE 3.5.10 that we have here has been rock solid and avoids the renaming complexities and separate tqtinterface interface layer incorporated into TDE. (it also lacks about 5 years of solid bug fixes TDE has had on the downside). However, other than a simple td... kd... rename, all the TDE bug fixes can be dropped directly into our KDE as patches. So if you find a TDE bug fix you like, lets just incorporate it as a patch here. I guess we should set up a build environment. I haven't tried here, but the build order should be ascertainable for the .spec files and the original svn.kde.org 3.5.10 source tree. -- David C.
