Dear KDE3 mailing list, I haven't followed the entire conversation from the beginning. Was this question just to get an idea how many people are still using KDE3, in general or specifically with Leap? I have multiple 11.x, 12.x and 13.2 installations that use KDE3. If I ever upgrade to a newer installation, I will still give KDE3 a try. Istvan, I'm just curious. Can you please tell us what you liked in KDE3 better than TDE? Thanks, Gianluca On Wed, 12 Jun 2019, Istvan Gabor wrote:

Nothing against KDE3 in B.O.O. has been fixed in quite some time. Is there any reason to thing anything David Rankin cannot fix himself will ever get fixed?

Hello:
I also do use KDE3 almost exclusively. One user uses KDE4 but it is still in openSUSE 13.1.
I use KDE3 in openSUSE Leap 42.2 and 42.3 and on one computer in Leap 15.0. It works nicely, only in 15.0 it gives kdesu error if I want to run applications as root. See: https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kde3/2018-12/msg00002.html. I haven't tried 15.1 yet.
Previously I used trinity TDE in 13.2 and it was OK but I like opensuse KDE3 better.
I am grateful to all who are still making it work.
Cheers,
