Can you confirm, please that I did not dream ?
It's right where it's supposed to be: …42.3/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/xf86-video-ati-7.9.0-1.4.x86_64.rpm> …
I did not help me of a browser neither wget, simply using "Yast" built in tool (-: Il did not look further more because I thought that, it should be the origine of ATI users problem (supposing that I am not alone in that case).
I don't understand what you're trying to communicate. Maybe if you ask on the heroes@opensuse.org list or mirrors@opensuse.org list someone can recognize if you have a mirrors problem. Yours does not appear to me to be a KDE3 problem. Well, I did not want to offence you, and if I did, I please you to excuse me. I just wanted to create a smile. I like to look the simple user way, first, because I am a simple user.
xf86-video-ati-7.9.0-1.4.x86_64.rpm should be on your installation media.
It is well on the media. So it is not a KDE problème, if it is one, because I could have make a mistake while installing. Anyway, you immediatly looked in the X direction and you were right.
