Just wondering if anyone knows the status of how KDE3 works in 11.3. I'm planning to install it on a machine shortly.
As many of you may know, I completely dislike KDE4. It's too blingy(is that a word?) and I've never found any compelling reason to use it even after trying many times to make a go at it. So, I'm glad to see that we now have our own list to work on KDE3 with.
I'm still running 11.0, and had noticed that 11.0-11.2 used many KDE4 libs because of using both DEs. Has this been removed so that we have a fully qt3/KDE3 experience like it was in 10.3 and earlier?
Yes, any KDE4 dependencies have been removed, so you an remove Qt4 from your computer completely. The state of KDE3 for 11.3 is the same as for 11.0 or even somewhat better.
I'm ready and willing to test(when I have the time).
