Watching through yast on the repository "openSUSE-Leap42.3-oss", I did not see any package titled "xf86-video-ati" (supposed to be between "xf86-video-ast" and "xf86-video-chips", isn't it ?) ! This implyes that I can not check the the proposed version, as there is no proposition. Can you confirm, please that I did not dream ?
It's right where it's supposed to be: <http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.3/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/xf86-video-ati-7.9.0-1.4.x86_64.rpm> <http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/leap/42.3/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/xf86-video-ati-7.9.0-1.4.x86_64.rpm> <http://widehat.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.3/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/xf86-video-ati-7.9.0-1.4.x86_64.rpm> <http://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/opensuse/distribution/leap/42.3/repo/oss/suse/x86_64/xf86-video-ati-7.9.0-1.4.x86_64.rpm>
What could I do to help the X system, related to the mouse ? It is fonctionnal, anyway.
It may not need help. It seems maybe your repo configuration is defective.
