I have installed KDE3 on openSUSE 15.5 and have noticed that a shutdown is prompting for the Root password. Do you have any idea how i could allow my regular user account to shutdown and reboot the system without password?
/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc has a configuration option for who is allowed to shutdown and reboot. Might it also be possible by including your regular user in the wheel group? -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg.
