while I more or less gave up with kmail, another problem is seriously annoying me (opensuse 12.1 x64): KNetworkmanager doesn't work with wireless LAN. Everything is fine with cable connections. I can also see the wireless networks available, but as soon as I choose one to connect with, simply nothing happens (no "trying to connect" symbol etc.) Any ideas? How can I trace where the problem is?
Same problem here! That's the last reason why I have to use kde4 on my notebook until now. Using kde3-hal-enabled has not solved this issue.
I use on 11.2 with kde3 NetworkManager-gnome-0.7.1-5.5.1.i586 http://projects.gnome.org/NetworkManager/ Especially for editing wlan conections, I use nm-connection-editor as root, works fine. Perhaps that works with 12.1, too. -- Herzliche Grüße! Rolf Muth Meine Adressen duerfen nicht fuer Werbung verwendet werden!
