I've recently updated my build script for TDE Kvkbd and ported the patches for a KDE3 build. As SuSE provided the source, I thought I'd offer the patches and build details here.
A number of issues have been fixed: * Add a LSGT key to the right of left Shift for non-US keyboards * Add a RWIN key * Choose keyboard and/or key colour at build time * Set keycodes for evdev mapping * Show characters on dead_keys * and more ..
For anybody interested in this app, it's a straightforward back-to-basics build - patch, configure, unsermake.
