Kann mit 'chat'-'pppd' und 1 Zyxel 2864I keine PPP-Verbindung erstellen
Hallo Liste, (SuSE 6.2 mit Standard 2.2.10 Kernel, Zyxel 2864I ISDN-TA an '/dev/modem' ('/dev/ttSy0')) Mit 'wvdial' und 'pppd' klappt die PPP-Verbindung zum ISP aber nicht mit 'chat'. Wenn ich den von SuSE empfohlenen String probiere ('at&f&b40') passiert dasselbe ('at&f&o2b40' wurde mir von Zyxel empfohlen). Ich habe schon ein Paar andere Variante (aus dem Internet) ausprobiert, bisher ohne Erfolg. Uebrigens moechte ich 'pppd' mit 'chat' anstatt 'wvdial' benutzen, da die naechste Etappe 'dial on demand' ist, und dies mit 'chat' beschrieben ist. Mit externen ISDN-Modems kenne ich mich nicht so aus, ich habe nur eine Modem-Emulation fuer meine ISDN-Karte um damit eine X.75 Verbindung zu meinem Provider herzustellen. Mein Initialisierungsstring sieht folgendermassen aus: ""+++ATZ&E<meinenummer>&ATS14=0&B1024 ATS14=0 ist der Schalter fuer das X.75 Protokoll B1024 legt die Paketgroesse fest
Hier noch meine 'ppp-up' und 'chat-connect' Skripte: ppp-up:

Ein paar mehr pppflags waeren schon hilfreich, siehe man pppd, oder sind die in einem options file versteckt ?

Bist du hinter einer Telefonanlage versteckt, oder warum musst du
eine "0" vorwaehlen ?
