I had that problem with the same card, although it is fully supported (including CAPI) in Suse Linux 9.0. The error messages were not indicative of the real problem, which eventually turned out to be an improperly chosen IRQ. To determine which IRQ I would use, I initially simply ran 'cat /proc/interrupts', but apparently that does not list all IRQs that are 'taken' properly. because the first available IRQ (7) gave exactly all the problems you describe, and some that you are probably not aware of (such as isdnlog taking all the CPU time it can get - very ugly indeed). After much useless troubleshooting in other areas, I finally selected IRQ 10 and all the problems disappeared instantly, including the trouble with isdnlog. I can only think of one reason why I couldn't use the seemingly available IRQ 7: that IRQ was reserved for the parallel port in the BIOS, and Linux simply took notice of that and didn't allow other devices on that IRQ.
