[suse-isdn] CAPI nicht lauffhähig.
Hallo, seit 2 Monaten versuche ich schon CAPI zum laufen zu bringen, aber ohne Erfolg. SUSE 7.1, jetzt 7.2, AMD Athlon 1GHz, FRITZ! PCI Ich habe die Treiber von AVM verwendet, und die von ThePenguin.de. Ich habe auch AVM Support probiert, ... viele Mails, kein Ergebnis Ich habe auch JP probiert, : vielleicht hilft 7.2 leider nicht ! Fehlerbeschreibung: Egal was ich installiere, bei lsmod fehlt immer fcpci. Ich lege mal das (leider lange) Bootlog bei. Kann es sein, dass der Pfad falsch ist ? Ich habe einen 2.4.7 Kernel, und da sind die module unter /lib/modules/2.4.7/kernel/drivers/isdn Oder hat sich der Pfad erst mit 2.4.7 geaendert ? -Dieter -- Dieter Kluenter Brute Force Imaging

Kann es sein, dass der Pfad falsch ist ? Ich habe einen 2.4.7 Kernel, und da sind die module unter /lib/modules/2.4.7/kernel/drivers/isdn
Dort gibt es viele Module zu ISDN, aber fcpci liege im Modul wie im Pfad angegeben.
Oder hat sich der Pfad erst mit 2.4.7 geaendert ?

Du koenntest z.B. deiner Soundkarte einen anderen IRQ zuweisen. Eingetlich wird das vom PCI Controller selbstaendig gehandhabt. Moeglicherweise musst du daher deine BIOS Eintraege mal ueberpruefen. -Dieter -- Dieter Kluenter Brute Force Imaging
Hallo Helmet, vielen Dank für den Tip, ich habe einen Hisax gelöscht. Jetzt kommt wenigstens Hisax wieder ohne Fehlermeldung. Auch die x-console bringt jetzt wesentlich weniger Fehlermeldungen. Nur fcpci läuft immer noch nicht. Trotzdem danke Mit freundlichen Grüßen Wolfgang

Hallo zusammen, hatte leider nicht eher Zeit, habe aber den ganzen Thread gelesen. 1. Wenn mit AVM-OAPI4Linux gearbeitet wird darf nicht mit Hisax gearbeitet werden. Zumindest nicht für die Karte. Du solltest einfach mal laut Anleitung vorgehen und als Karten-Type AVM B1-PCI einstellen am einfachsten unter Yast1. 2. Um ipppd benutzen zu können mußt du dan noch inder modules.conf folgende Einträge ändern: # alias char-major-43 hisax # alias char-major-44 hisax # alias char-major-45 hisax alias char-major-43 capidrv alias char-major-44 capidrv alias char-major-45 capidrv also heisax kommentieren und die darunter stehenden Zeilen einfügen. 3. Als root rci4l stop rci4l_hardware restart rci4l start eingeben. Nun müßte CAPI4linux eigentlich laufen. cu gerald

Läuft bei mir auch. Ohne Probleme. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, aber die Fritz rev. 2 wird von HiSax noch nicht unterstützt. Ob das mit capi geht, weiß ich nicht. Auf jeden Fall solltest du keinen HiSax laden, wenn du capi starten willst. Du mußt dich für eines entscheiden. Zur Not einfach das Skript i4l_hardware bearbeiten. Entweder in /etc/init.d oder /sbin/init.d (abhängig von der Suse-Version). Gruß Lars
